Big news: our lives are about to change again! ❤️ At the end of April, we will officially be a family of four as we welcome our baby girl into the world. After two years of learning, growing, and experiencing life with our first daughter, we’ve been practicing—and now we’re super excited for one more.
Lately, I’ve been wondering… does having kids have anything to do with making music? And honestly, the more I think about it, the more I see the parallels.
Both take time, love, and patience.
Just like a song starts with an idea—a small melody, a lyric, a feeling—a child starts as a tiny presence, growing day by day. You nurture it, shape it, and give it all the love you can.
Both surprise you in ways you never expected.
You might have a plan, a vision of how things should go. But just like a song sometimes takes on a life of its own in the studio, a child shows you that life isn’t about control—it’s about embracing the unexpected.
Both are meant to be shared.
Music isn’t made to stay locked away in a drawer, and neither is love. Songs and children alike are brought into the world to connect, inspire, and bring joy to others.
So, as I step into this next chapter of life, I know that—just like making music—it’s going to be challenging, exhausting, and the most rewarding thing ever. And just like a song, I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
